To ensure maximum exposure for the launch, the program was promoted on the TradeDoubler home page for two weeks, and in the newsletter sent to all publishers.
TradeDoubler’s consultancy team contacted 200 key TradeDoubler publishers from: financial websites, shopping websites, search engine marketing specialists and rewards/cash-back web sites. Five publishers were recommended for brand related Pay Per click search activity, two of which generated 1000+ sales/leads each month since launch. Each publisher built a dedicated landing page promoting each Post Office™ product. This strategy was effective, driving Search traffic to the Post Office™. Monthly competitions and incentives promoted on the homepage and fortnightly newsletters secured a high level of exposure to publishers.
November ‘Advertiser of the month’ promotion on homepage attracted more than 111,000 click-throughs, linked to dedicated page detailing benefits of the program and key promotions for November.
Using TradeDoubler’s AdTool, the Post Office™ could display all flower products in one Christmas themed storefront on publisher websites. This self optimising storefront was based on the best selling flower products and achieved a click-through rate of over 4%.
Leads/sales (units) generated within the first six months of operation were 58% more than the amount of leads/sales (units) expected.
